Which law do I fall under?

Asylum status holders                             

I am between 16 years old and retirement age.
I have received a residence permit and now I have to integrate. All aspects of the integration process are required from me.

I take all the steps in the Civic Integration Roadmap.
I complete my integration within 3 years.

Family migrants                                           

I came to the Netherlands to live with my partner. I have taken a language exam at A1 level in my country of origin.

I participate from step 3 of the Civic Integration Roadmap family migrants.

Resettlers                                                         

I am in a vulnerable situation. I have come to Zaanstad directly. I don't have to go to the Asylum Seekers' Centre first.

Important matters are taken care of for me five months before arrival. By Dutch Refugee Council (Vluchtelingenwerk), COA, the municipality and the housing corporation.

I participate from step 3 of the Civic Integration Roadmap.

After - travellers                                          

I am following a family member. He is already an asylum status holder in the Netherlands. This can be partners, children, parents or other relatives.

I participate from step 2 of the Civic Integration Roadmap.

I fall under the Civic Integration Act that is valid between 2013 – 2021. There are two groups:

Meanwhile group

I still received my residence permit in 2021. If I start The Civic Integration Route in 2022, I will follow all the steps in the Civic Integration Roadmap.

If it is really necessary, I receive guidance from the Municipal Integration Team.

Elip groups

I fall under the Civic Integration Act, which was valid between 2013 – 2021.

I am in the last six months of my integration and I have almost no money left for my own development. I receive help to pass my Dutch language and integration exam quickly.
